I almost died.
An update? YES - active deviant movement. So we had to choose a topic/theme for our end of semester photography portfolio - and I've always loved underwater fashion photography, in particular, so I decided I would try and do this - but without the use of models and/or people. (Mainly because I, 1. didn't want to have to try and bribe my friends into doing this for me and secondly - have you ever tried to take beautiful, serene and natural photos of people/yourself underwater before? It just doesn't happen).
I decided to instead take more of an 'abstract' approach and focus on the textures, movement, colours, contrasts, lighting and 'lack of gravity' that materials/clothing underwater provide. I think I was semi successful. Well, I better be semi-successful in the assignment grade at least. Because I literally almost drowned trying to do this, multiple times - goggles, are not enough. Next time - I'm getting a snorkel and mask. No joke.
